As of 1 p.m. on Monday, April 13, Central Hudson was reporting that 17,493 of its 120,208 customers were without power, while 2,580 of its 5,151 customers were reporting outages.
NYSEG was reporting 13,619 of its Putnam customers were without power, while 868 in Dutchess were left in the dark.
Carmel was hit the hardest, with 5,253 outages, followed by East Fishkill (4,049 outages), Kent (3,121), Beacon (2,455), Putnam Valley (2,415), Fishkill (2,142), Southeast (1,942), Hyde Park (1,489), Wappinger (1,332), Cold Spring (1,226), Philipstown (1,029), and Patterson (1,022).
Other outages were reported in Pawling, Amenia, Beekman, Dover, Pawling, Union Vale, Nelsonville, Washington, Wappingers Falls, Stanford, Rhinebeck, Red Hook, Poughkeepsie, Pleasant Valley, Pine Plains, North East, Millbrook, Milan, LaGrange, and Clinton.
The National Weather Service has issued a high wind warning that will be in effect until 6 p.m. on Monday. A coastal flood advisory has also been issued.
